For my 30th birthday my mother found this very special book of drawings by artist/heroine Niki de Saint Phalle. While this collection is a rare one, a number of books of this woman's big-hearted, perverse and necessary work are available online. Weird trivia: without knowing what my mom got me my father separately bought me a huge catalogue of Niki's! It's nice to feel known.
I read Threadbare: Clothes, Sex, & Trafficking a few months ago, but it has stayed with me and I reread it last week. The creators call it a "comics report"— basically a graphic novel except it's about the global garment trade, sex work, and you know, women's rights around the world. Big subjects but the Lady Drawers (a comics collective led by Anne Elizabeth Moore) break it down without dumbing it down. Threadbare will likely challenge some of your thoughts about NGOs, brothels, and even thrift store shopping. No matter what your politics, I suggest you read it.
