**What Lena Dunham is listening to:**

My musical obsession of the moment is Sam Dew, whose vibe is like if Prince had a sensual baby with Bob Dylan and then the baby went out and bought a synth.

Listen and dance and weep!!!

**What our Associate Editor Laia Garcia is listening to**;

My friend played this song for me a few weeks ago and I think about it at least once a day. Sure, the beat is hella irresistible but it’s the lyrics that make this song pretty much the best song ever. While Chimbala (the dude) sings “damelo” or “give it to me” over and over again, La Insuperable (or “the unsurpassable”) responds with a very firm “No.” “No.” “No.” “No.” He raps about the usual male posturing stuff, you know, comparing his penis to a cannon, and she just keeps saying “No.” “No.” “No.” “No.” Never has a greater, funner song existed.

**What our Editor-at-Large Doreen St. Félix is listening to:**

Consider this rec a music video Monday: Tame Impala’s “The Less I Know The Better.” The song itself—in fact most of Tame Impala’s discography—is perfect for commuting. The soft funk and bouncy rhythms make you feel like you’re the protagonist of your own movie. A kind of tripped-out *High School Musical* plot governs this gorgeous visual, in particular. No doubt one of my favorite music videos ever.

**What our Assistant Dianca London is listening to:**

There are few things in this world that are cooler than Shannon’s “Let the Music Play.” Every time I listen to her 1980’s banger, I can’t keep myself from singing along. Between the irresistibly rhythmic intro, funky synth, and flawless vocals, it’s impossible not to imagine yourself groovin’ on a dance-floor awash in pastel lights. It’s also pretty awesome how the chorus doubles as the perfect mantra when it comes to matters of the heart or baes who take forever to text back.
