**PISCES** (February 19 to March 20) Personal growth is like a mutual fund or some shit. Sometimes the lows dip all the way down below where you were years ago when you first embarked on this journey, and you’re like, What have I even invested in? But over time, be assured that you are going up. The highs are just going to keep getting higher, and most important, you are moving forward.

**ARIES** (March 21 to April 19) The expectation that you should feel good all the time might be what’s fucking you up. What if you just hung out in the not-good and wrote no story about it? What if you set up a little temporary camp in there and ate some food? You might see that you can survive, and even thrive, anywhere.

**TAURUS** (April 20 to May 20) Is anything going to rescue you from your life? Probably not, but it’s OK that you’re still looking for it. This is what human beings do: we look for salvation in a lot of the wrong places. So keep looking to be saved or don’t keep looking to be saved, but congratulations, you’re human.

**GEMINI** (May 21 to June 20) You are so allowed to contain multitudes. I know it seems easier to be one thing — wear one costume, play for one team, possess one set of political ideals — but the truth is that no one really does. This month you should actually allow yourself to be two people, or even 20.

**CANCER** (June 21 to July 22) How locked into your life are you? It feels like you’re stuck, but is that true? How much of that feeling is reality and how much is it walls you build around yourself to have some respite from the mystery of the infinite? Maybe you don’t need as much respite as you think. Maybe the infinite is the greatest respite.

**LEO** (July 23 to August 22) In the time of disappointment, love still rules. Let yourself have your exact real feelings about your situation without judging what you feel or wondering what is wrong with you for feeling that way. Feelings are not a weakness. They are you at your most you.

**VIRGO** (August 23 to September 22) Go back to bed. This month when you don’t know what to do, or you don’t feel like doing it, let yourself all the way off the hook and take a nap. Naps are not escapism; and if they are escapism that’s fine, too, because a lot gets sorted out in dreams. Let your subconscious do more work for you. Be lazy. It’s fine and important.

**LIBRA** (September 23 to October 22) The dream of being someone else should be ignored this month. It’s too late for that, or maybe it’s too early, but regardless, here you are. No one knows why we are here. But you are exactly what you’ve been given, and some of it is probably good shit.

**SCORPIO** (October 23 to November 21) What if God was, like, a hot lover who was always with you and kissed your ass and always texted back, but wasn’t too clingy in the sense that the lover would always be there, but if you didn’t feel like dealing with it would just sit with you quietly and let you forget it is there? That would be cool.

**SAGITTARIUS** (November 22 to December 21) Dig deep; get underneath yourself for the best time you can possibly have, the most fulfilling relationships, the truest love. How do we dig deep? I’m sorry to say it, Sag, but I’m going to ask you again this month, after a few months’ break, to be still with yourself. For 30 minutes this month — not that much time when you think about it — I want you to get absolutely still, totally quiet, and see what you find there.

**CAPRICORN** (December 22 to January 19) Astrology may or may not be bullshit, but one thing it does provide us with is a filter through which to experience life as archetypes, and also to have some fun. This month, remember that our quest for truth and meaning does not always have to be scientific or serious. Archetypes can be true. Symbols can be real. Perception is all. Fun is legit.

**AQUARIUS** (January 20 to February 18) OMG, what if there is nothing wrong with you, your situation, even the world? Who would you be if you weren’t fixing, altering, needing to improve? It’s scary, I know, but try that life on for just one day this month. You might find you actually kind of like it.
